Compliments
“The organizers of the Tour of Utah were very smart and they have surely outlined the template of the future for other cycling events with their strategic use of social media, mainly Twitter, Facebook and an iPhone app that was updated daily with race results, stage maps and general race information, like team rosters, stage details and of course news from the many Twitter users that were posting 140 character updates almost every moment during the stages. Fans by the thousands became “friends” of the Tour of Utah on Facebook as well as following on Twitter….Videos from fans, as well as Tour officials, were posted on the website daily further increasing the amount of eyeballs watching the race…. If you were living in Utah, specifically the Salt Lake City area, you knew the Larry H. Miller bike race was in town.”
– ROAD Magazine Nov/Dec 2009 Issue (Commiskey is Interactive Director for the Tour of Utah)
Patrick Commiskey's multifaceted approach to media relations was a critical component of growing People's Market by 300% in one year. We would not have seen our dramatic success without Patrick's expertise.
– Kyle LaMalfa, founder, People's Market
He is amazing! I met him through the world of non-profits, and most recently have worked along side him in setting up a web radio station. Patrick helped secure thousands of dollars in trade, advertising and publicity for the new venture to get us up and running. Through his guidance he built the look and feel of the station to the public-not the 'bones and walls' but the overall vibe and presentation over the web. He saw the need, networked with people in this community and BAM we had one of the top five web radio stations in the country almost the moment we entered the market. This is one smart cookie who's easy to work with. I am not easy to work with so for me to rave about Patrick is very special.

Your vision in promoting this organization has broadened our audience, expanded our visibility in the community, and brought us additional funding. Your leadership in marketing continues to improve our quality in every way.
– Dr. Thomas Rohrer, music director, Salt Lake Symphonic Winds
You have certainly brought a new level of marketing to the group and I really appreciate it. It is something we have needed for a while, but haven’t known exactly how to do.
– Lynda Steed, treasurer, Salt Lake Symphonic Winds
